Knossos - Archaeological Museum

Get to know Iraklion during a short trip round the town.

We visit the Archaeological Museum, where you can experience the cultural birth of Europe in the exhibition of artefacts of the Minoan period. Take in the impressions of the gracious charm and elegance of the finds from Knossos, Malia, Phaestos and Kato Zakros.

We will take a lunch break in the town of Iraklion.

Our certified tour guide will lead you through the labyrinth of the palace complex at Knossos, built 4000 years ago by King Minos. Take a mystical look back on the beginnings of our time. The first, highest cultural epoch of the Bronze Age was the Minoan, named after King Minos. The many finds point to a culture of humanity and justness, which set it apart from others.
